Kosher Dining

Thanks to our partners in Harvard University Dining Services, Harvard Hillel's Rabbi Ben-Zion Gold Kosher Dining Hall serves some of the most beloved food on the Harvard campus!

Meal Schedule

Dinner is served nightly, Sunday through Thursday during the academic school year from 5:00 to 7:00 pm and is available to all students on Harvard's undergraduate meal plan. In addition, weekly Friday Shabbat dinners and Saturday Shabbat lunches are also served.

Please note: During the holidays of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Simchat Torah, Sukkot and Passover, the Hillel dining hall will additionally be open daily for lunch from 12:00 to 2:00 pm.

Other Kosher Dining Options at Harvard for Undergrads

Harvard Hillel is not your only option for kosher food at Harvard. Every Harvard dining hall has a Kosher Corner which, upon request, includes frozen meals, cold cuts, cheeses, tuna fish, etc., as well as a kosher microwave. Much of the food in the dining halls is certified kosher, including many breakfast cereals, an extensive salad bar, many breads, fresh fruit, and beverages. Hillel also provides bag lunches for pickup (you must order a lunch with a paper form at dinner at Hillel the day before.)

Harvard Graduate Students

Harvard Hillel hosts Graduate Student Shabbat Dinners monthly during the academic year, free of charge for all registered Harvard graduate students.  Contact Jacklyn Liberman, Director of Student Life, for more information.

Our special "Cheap Eats for Grads" dining rates are available each Wednesday and Saturday during the academic year. Cheap Eats rates are: $5.00 for registered Harvard graduate students and $7.00 for spouses, significant others, and children of graduate students (children 3 and under are free).

*No Cheap Eats during Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Simchat Torah, Sukkot, or Passover.
