Student Conservative Minyan

Our minyan is a fully student-run minyan with song-filled egalitarian services.  We follow the traditional service, pray in Hebrew, and welcome those of all backgrounds to our vibrant, spirited services.

SCM offers Shabbat, holiday and weekday service.  We meet for all Torah readings (i.e. Mondays, Thursdays, Rosh Chodesh, Chol HaMoed, fast days, etc.) and weekly for Shabbat services on Friday nights and Saturday mornings.  Our services are participatory and we offer instruction to those who would like to learn how to read Torah or lead services. SCM hosts a variety of guest speakers to spend Shabbat with the community.  Over the course of the year, we also have social events - some just for undergrads, some just for grad students and community members, and some for everyone.  We warmly welcome undergraduates, graduate students, and community members to get involved in our community and to participate in services.
