Having spent the last few years in Israel, Lauren Cohen Fisher is thrilled to be returning to her hometown of Boston to join the Hillel team at Harvard University. Lauren received her BA in Government from Colby College. Lauren's interest in Israel blossomed during her semester at the University of Haifa's Peace and Conflict program, where she had the opportunity to unpack some of the complexities of the contemporary Israeli landscape. She returned to Israel after finishing her BA to complete an MA in Security & Diplomacy at Tel Aviv University. Throughout both of her degrees, Lauren played an active role engaging in the conversation on Israel in her communities both at home and abroad. Following her graduate work, Lauren has worked in experiential education in Israel, focusing on the intersections between leadership, Jewish pluralism, and the Jewish-American connection to Israel. A summer camp counselor at heart, Lauren's favorite pastime is reminiscing on her memories at the Cohen Camps, where she has been for the last thirteen summers. Lauren is excited to grow with and from Harvard Hillel students!
