Noah Hirsch-Rechter
Noah grew up in Oxford, England – where, he says, there was lots of history and tradition but no sun and very few Jews.  He comes to Harvard Hillel after a year teaching in Israel (Jerusalem, specifically), where there was also plenty of history and tradition, but significantly more Jews and certainly more sun.  Noah is looking forward to working with students to create Israel events including, speakers, discussions, debates, trips (and, of course, food), and he will organize and lead Harvard Hillel’s bi-annual ‘Birthright and Beyond’ trip to Israel.  “Beyond (see what I did there?) Hillel,” says Noah, “I’m a sports fanatic, a keen – if slow – runner, and a coffee addict.  I’m really so thrilled to be a part of this vibrant and diverse community, and I can’t wait to see what the year has in store.”
