Kosher Dining

Rabbi Ben-Zion Gold Dining Hall

The Harvard Hillel dining hall serves delicious Glatt Kosher meals and is located right in Harvard Hillel.

Meal Schedule

Dinner is served nightly, Sunday through Thursday during the academic school year from 5 to 7 pm and is available to all students on Harvard's meal plan.  In addition, weekly "White Linen & Crimson" Friday Shabbat dinners (new style) and Saturday Shabbat lunches  at 12:00 pm are also served (check website calendar for Friday Shabbat meal times).   Please note: During the holidays of Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, Shemini Atzeret, Simchat Torah, Sukkot and Passover, the Hillel dining hall will additionally be open daily for lunch from 12-2 PM.

Kosher catering through Harvard University Dining Services is also available.

If you have any questions about dining at Harvard Hillel, please email Linda Mulligan at linda@hillel.harvard.edu.

Before placing your order, please inform your server if a person in your party has a food allergy.

Other Kosher Options at Harvard

The Hillel dining hall is not your only option for kosher dining at Harvard.

Every Harvard dining hall has a Kosher Corner, which includes frozen meals, cold cuts, cheeses, tuna fish, etc, as well as a kosher microwave and toaster oven.

Furthermore, much of the food in the dining halls is certified kosher, including many breakfast cereals, an extensive salad bar, many breads, fresh fruit, and beverages.

Hillel also provides bag lunches for pickup in Loker Commons at the Fly-By area. (You must order a lunch with a paper form at dinner at Hillel the day before.)
