Join Michael Sandel in Supporting Harvard Hillel

Dear fellow members of Harvard’s Jewish community,

Harvard Hillel has been a precious resource for our community for decades—a gathering place where Jewish students from all backgrounds come together to celebrate, learn, and engage in meaningful dialogue about the big questions facing Jewish life today.

In these complicated times, when our community faces real challenges, Harvard Hillel’s role has become even more vital. It’s where the next generation of Jewish leaders is learning to navigate disagreement with respect, to see pluralism not as a threat but as a source of strength.

I recently sat down with my friend Rabbi Jason Rubenstein, whose leadership has enriched our community, to share why I believe so deeply in this work. I hope you’ll take a moment to watch my brief message about what makes Harvard Hillel so essential to the future of Jewish life.
