WATCH: Welcoming the Class of 2030

Dear fellow members of Harvard’s Jewish community,

In May, we said farewell to the graduating Class of 2026. Today I want to show you the other side of that story: what it looks like when the next class walks through our doors.

This past April during Visitas, our students welcomed admitted members of the Class of 2030 to Harvard Hillel. They ran events, answered questions over piles of bagels, and showed these prospective students what Jewish life here actually looks like.

As Adrian Rosenfeld ’29, First-Year Chair of the Student Board, puts it:

“I get to help bring the best and brightest Jewish students to Harvard, and to be that first step in the door for people who’ll go on to become future leaders of the Jewish people. During Visitas, we ran events that showed every side of Jewish life here, from the affiliate groups and sub-Hillel organizations to social gatherings that put Harvard Hillel at its best.”

These incoming students will arrive in August not knowing anyone, the way Adrian did last year. Harvard Hillel will be the place where they find their footing, and your support is what makes that possible.
