The People’s Plate: Interfaith Seder

Harvard Hillel partnered with Harvard’s Presidential Initiative on Interfaith Engagement to host an Interfaith Passover Seder at the Smith Campus Center. Over 50 students, staff, and community members gathered for an evening led by a diverse group of 12 undergraduate and graduate students alongside Hillel and Harvard staff. Using a unique, inclusive Haggadah created especially for the occasion, participants explored the story, rituals, and themes of Passover together through questions, songs, and conversation. For many in the room, it was their very first Seder. The evening was part of The People’s Plate, a weeklong initiative using art and conversation to explore identity, memory, and belonging across campus.
