The People’s Plate: Reception
Harvard Hillel celebrated the unveiling of The People’s Plate – a nine-foot interpretive seder plate by artist Michael Mittelman – with an opening reception at the Queen’s Head on March 23. Students, faculty, administrators and community members gathered for an evening of conversation and connection, with remarks from Rabbi Jason Rubenstein, Rabbi Elisha Gechter and visiting professor Susannah Heschel, and a performance by ApiChorus, Harvard’s Jewish a cappella group.
