Aleeza Schoenberg

Aleeza grew up in the Boston area, and after a year in Israel and four years at Princeton University, where she majored in psychology and also studied creative writing, theater, computer science, and cognitive science. Aleeza brought her many interests into leading roles at Princeton’s Hillel. With a focus on pluralism, she built up the Hillel’s theater group, served as Shabbat Chair on the Hillel student board, revived post-pandemic Shabbat dinners, organized a seven-week remote wellness initiative, and participated in several Minyan groups. Aleeza’s favorite memories of college include her involvement in the Muslim-Jewish dialogue group and the production of the Jewish play she authored. She also loved befriending new students each year and seeing them become leaders in the Hillel community. In her free time, Aleeza enjoys travel blogging, taking walks, and giving unsolicited advice after first asking permission. Aleeza is excited to engage with students, build community, empower leaders, and do a ton of thinking and planning and shaping and creating.
